13/14 April, Fenton, Michigan: The Slot Car Corner team have regained the 1/32 scale hard bodied cars world distance record that they lost to the Czechs of Brno two years ago. It was close, though; less than half a kilometre was added to the record 433 kilometre (269 mile) record. Slot Car Corner used a NSR Mosler body and chassis with Scale Auto 20,000 rpm motor. Mike Chiocchio (USA), Christian Gingras (Canada), Georges Hamel (Canada), Dickie Pearson (USA) and Steve Sawtelle (USA) were the guys involved. Click Here for pics.
